Sprawling lots and updated 1970’s homes entice you to a little country living in three areas intertwined into one: Granada Hills/Oaks/Estates. Long, winding, paved streets and neighborhoods amenities such as pool, children’s play area, and tennis courts keep recreation close at hand but the setting of these homes takes you away from city life. The Granada Homeowners Association is active but also voluntary ($60/year dues) so residents can be as involved as they choose to be - don’t miss the annual 4th of July Parade plus enjoy the efforts of your neighbors to keep the entrance and shared areas groomed and landscaped.
Essential amenities are a bit further to access than in the newer planned communities but the Y at Oak Hill provides all of the grocery and service needs of residents. 1836 just North of Granada Hills and 290 to Mopac grant access to Central Austin and a 15 minute commute to downtown Austin. Wild fun is found close by at Gatti Town or enjoy a quiet dinner for two at Satellite Cafe. Take a country drive west towards Dripping Springs and the Hill country or head east on 290 to Mopac and be ‘north of the river’ in 10 minutes. William Cannon allows access to the mix of local and new businesses, shopping, churches, entertainment, banking, and gyms that South Austin is famous for. Granada hills is a world away from city life but keeps you close to friends, work and play.
