Explore UT - Saturday, March 7 - 11a-5p - There is something for everyone at Explore UT. Young children participate in fun, educational and engaging activities; middle school students explore their favorite subjects and learn about future career opportunities; high school students meet with UT Austin admissions counselors, advisers, faculty members and current students; parents and educators enjoy a variety of cultural events, inspiring lectures, performances and exhibits; and alumni reconnect with campus and share memories with family and friends.
Sunshine Community Garden Plant Sale - Saturday. March 7 - 9a– Austin’s most loved, locally raised heirloom veggies and herbs make their big debut 9 A.M. at Sunshine Community Gardens (SCG) 4814 Sunshine Dr, Austin, Tx 78756 . The sale is the largest Certified Organic Non-Profit Plant event in Texas. Over 150 Tomato varieties, 72 Wicked Hot and Sweet Bell Pepper varieties, 15 kinds of Eggplants, 5000 thousand herbs and other plants ready for spring planting.
Experience the Most Colorful Festival of India - Holi! - Saturday, March 7, 2-8p - Radha Madhav Dham Hindu Temple -Radha Madhav Dham is pleased to present “Holi Hai”, an exuberant and interactive celebration of the Indian festival of color.
Big Band Bash - Monday, March 9, 7:30p - Lakeway Activity Center - Put on your dancing shoes and bring your own beverages and snacks. Enjoy big band music from the 17-piece Republic of Texas Big Band, featuring David Cummings and Lisa Clark on vocals. This event is free and open to all ages.
