Shakespeare in Zilker Park -- Taming of the Shrew - Now – May 24 - FREE - Zilker Hillside Theater - From the battle of the sexes to the marriage of true minds, Austin Shakespeare transports The Taming of the Shrew to the Austin of the 1890's, where city folk and cowboys collide. Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy Shakespeare under the beautiful evening skies across from Barton Springs Pool.

Panchanga Latino Music Festival - May 14-16th - Fiesta Gardens- Pachanga is a Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival dedicated to showcasing the vibrant blend of Latino-created music and art and the impact it has on American culture today. The Pachanga lineup includes rock, alternative, tejano, mariachi, cumbia, salsa, electronic, funk, hip-hop and indie rock with one singular theme, the sound is brown.
KGSR Unplugged at the Grove - Now - Sept. 17th - 8p - FREE - Every Thursday at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road for one of Austin's longest running free concert series. There’s still no cover charge, $3.50 ZiegenBock Drafts, and the best music, food, and fun you’ll experience under the clear, warm skies of Austin, Texas! The live music begins at 8pm.
Freedom Fest 5k Fun Run - Sat May 23rd - Round Rock - Start the day with a 5k run, jog or walk! Its family friendly and welcoming to all ages and all levels of athleticism! There will also be a 1k obstacle course, and a kids obstacle course for them to play on!
